This was a very interesting and well organized tour. Our guide Pablo provided us with a wealth of information about Cuba's history and everyday life. He and the hosts of our guest houses made every effort to keep the disruptions due to a hurricane and due to power outages to a minimum. I would recommend this tour to everyone who wants to get a comprehensive overview of Cuba in a short period of time.

This was an interesting tour that I would recommend to anyone interested in Cuba, who enjoys cycling. It is not the easiest tour and it is an adventure facing some of the hardships that the Cuban people confront. I loved learning more about Cuban history and events, and also seeing the beautiful landscapes. The white sand beaches are spectacular and we were fortunate to see the world's smallest bird, the bee hummingbird. Mojitos are delicious and we also enjoyed a local cocktail, the canchanchara. Our guide was excellent, as was our support crew (bike mechanic and bus driver).

If you want to visit Cuba you have to do it with Cuban Adventures. They will walk you through the paperwork required to get you in and out smoothly. Their guides will become your friends as they show you everything that Cuba has to offer. You will not only see Cuba, but you will leave with a better understanding of and warmer feelings for the people.

Rayner was absolutely amazing! A very well qualified tour guide, friendly, caring, knowledgeable, fun, always upbeat in spite of a nearby hurricane and multiple power outages. His constant communication with his office and with us, and his juggling of our routes and accommodations and restaurants was incredible. The casas were charming, clean, comfortable and hosts were all friendly and helpful. Our cycling routes were beautiful, our tourist excursions interesting / amazing. Wonderful trip, highly recommend!

Cuban Adventures handled everything so well. I never felt unsafe or worried. The main issue with the outage was we didn't have easy access to WiFi so our families were worried until we were able to get it. I can't stress enough how incredible the trip was. Our guide (Yu Yu) and driver (Yoelle) were delightful, the locations and restaurants were so amazing and the owners of the guests houses were lovely. I adored Cuba, even with the challenges, it was incredible. I am going to go back in a couple of years with my daughter so she can experience it. I have some recommendations if you are interested. • Bring a water bottle with a filter. The water is ok for brushing your teeth and showering, etc. We also drank the ice and did not have an issue. • Bring a flashlight. Even with the grid repaired there are rolling blackouts. It is what it is. Bring a flashlight or a headlamp. • Bring a lightweight rain jacket. I live in Portland and never use an umbrella. They're annoying to hold and in places like Havana, where it is crowded, they get in the way. I can send some recommendations if you like. • If you check a bag, it will take about 30 min for you to get it when you land. Everything is on Cuba time, so if you're an uptight former NYC'er like me, you have to take a deep breath and get comfortable with waiting. • Bring hot sauce • Bring gifts! Of course it isn't mandatory but if you have an ounce of empathy you will want to bring supplies to the Cuban people. My friend and I "travel light", we had a backpack and a duffle bag. Even so, you can bring so many things that are needed. Toothbrushes, tooth paste, packages of tissues, OTC medication, really anything that you take for granted is something they need. I also left things behind that I wasn't going to use again, like a pair of sandals and a shirt I have bought just for the trip. You will be surprised by how little people have, especially when you are out of the cities. Anything you can think of, they can use. • Lastly, being a good attitude. For any issue that annoys you, the Cuban citizens have to deal with every single day. Lack of fuel, rolling black outs, trash collection, amenities that we are used to in the US and other countries. Whatever annoyance you encounter most likely can't be solved by your guide so it isn't worth complaining. Accept it and work around it. The people make the country and the locations, the vibe, the food, all of it is worth any aggravation you may have. Have an awesome time! It will be a trip you remember for the rest of your life :)

Cuban Adventures does a great job providing a deep insight into Cuban culture, food, music, and art. We couldn't possibly have seen or experienced as much of Havana on our own. Our meals were all included, which made budgeting for the tour easy. Our tour guide, Ania, was the best!

We had an amazing Cuban 15 day Adventure with our fab guide yuyu and driver yuao. We learnt so much about the people, their country and history. Times are difficult for the people. We felt welcome and safe at all times. Don’t do this if you want a relaxing break, do this if you want to see, learn and have an adventure x

This trip was one of the best experiences of my life. I am amazed by the beauty of a country forgotten by the rest of the world and how without the basic needs to survive, the Cuban people have persevered for more than 50 years. Viva Cuba!

Cuban Adventures is AMAZING!!! The local guides are incredible, the tour itineraries are interesting and varied. My tour was during the 4 day national black out and I still felt safe the whole time and had an amazing time. I can't say enough good things about this company and it's employees.
