To secure a booking on a Cuban Adventures tour, you are required to pay us in advance. This money of yours is protected in a number of ways. Apart from the assurance that comes with booking with a business that has a history of over 10 years as a trusted operation with a high level of customer satisfaction, we also comply with many layers of regulatory requirements that further ensure that your payments to us are safe and secure.

Card Payments in USD and GBP

All debit and credit card payments in USD and GBP currencies that are made through our website, are processed by the merchant solution we have set up though our UK office. To comply with UK laws we have obtained financial failure insurance through help from the fine professionals at The Travel Vault. This insurance covers any payment you make to us in the highly unlikely event of our company failing. In this way we are fully compliant with the UK law: “The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018''. When you book one of our multi-night Cuba tours, you are covered by this Insurance Protection Certificate.

All payments in EUR and AUD are made directly to accounts held by our Australian parent company Big Planet Adventures Pty Ltd which has full accreditation with ATAS – The Australian Travel Accreditation Scheme. This government regulated scheme is administered by the industry association, the Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA). With our ATAS accreditation we are required to conduct business in compliance with Australian Consumer Law and in accordance with the ATAS Charter and ATAS Code of Conduct, adding additional assurance that we treat incoming payments with utmost responsibility.

Non card payments in USD

If you pay us in USD by Zelle payment or national bank transfer within the United States, this will be to the company that represents us in US and territories – Big Planet Adventures US, LLC, which is a licensed seller of travel in the state of California (CST for short).

This means that we participate in the Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation (TCRC), and that we use a trust account where we are required to keep customer payments until we need to use those funds to supply the services to that customer.

Non card payments to us in USD are protected in this way.
