Detailed Description
If you only have a short time in Cuba, you must spare a day to visit rural Western Cuba. Travellers fall in love with the incredible mountain views and sprawling tobacco farms of Viñales, a beautiful respite from the hustle and bustle of Havana. The locals are some of the warmest and friendliest people you’ll meet and the farm fresh meals are likely to be your favourite in Cuba.
On this day trip to Viñales we’ll visit local farms to learn about the process for growing and harvesting tobacco, and making it into some of the best cigars in the world! We’ll also tour the tranquil and picturesque city and then head to the outskirts to see a controversial mural and take a short boat ride through an underground cave. There may be additional time for optional horseback riding, zip lining, or cycling through town.
